How we estimate
  • Your bill ÷ an average all-in tariff of about RM 0.50/kWh gives the units you use.
  • We size the system to cover about 70% of those units with 410 W panels: at least 6, and no more than a typical roof fits (terrace 20, semi-D 30, bungalow 40).
  • Yield of 1,180–1,240 kWh per kWp a year in the Klang Valley: metal deck 1,180, tile 1,200, flat concrete on tilt frames 1,240.
  • Saving = solar output × RM 0.50/kWh, capped at 85% of your bill because fixed charges remain.
  • Installed price of RM 4,500/kWp for small systems, easing to RM 4,000/kWp from 10 kWp. Flat concrete adds RM 250/kWp; metal deck saves RM 150/kWp.
  • 25-year figure: panels lose 0.5% output a year, tariff held flat, minus the system price and one inverter replacement (RM 3,500).
  • CO₂: about 0.7 kg avoided for every kWh of grid power replaced.

How it works

From survey to switch-on in 6–10 weeks.

You'll know the real price within a week. The longest wait is the grid paperwork, and we chase that for you.

Book step 1, it's free
  1. Step 1

    Free site survey

    45–60 min · within 3 working days

A surveyor checks your roof's condition, direction and shading, plus your distribution board and TNB meter. Have your last few bills handy.

  2. Step 2

    Design & fixed quote

Within 3 working days of the survey

A panel layout drawn on your actual roof, a yield estimate and one fixed price. The quote stays valid for 30 days, with no deposit to think it over.

  3. Step 3

    Install in 1–2 days

Usually 1–2 weeks after you confirm

Rails, panels, inverter and cabling, fitted by our own crew rather than subcontractors. We leave the roof watertight and the porch swept.

  4. Step 4

    Net metering application & switch-on

    Typically 4–8 weeks

We file the SEDA and TNB applications. Once TNB fits your bi-directional meter, we commission the system and set up your monitoring app.

Approval times depend on SEDA and TNB processing, not on us. We send you a status update every week until you're switched on.

Packages

Three sizes cover most Klang Valley homes.

Every package includes panels, inverter, mounting, the monitoring app and the SEDA/TNB paperwork. Your survey confirms the right size for your roof and bill.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask before going solar.

Short, honest answers. For scheme rules and current tariffs, SEDA Malaysia and TNB are the official sources.

Ask us on WhatsApp
Does solar still work when it's cloudy or raining?

Yes, just less. Panels run on daylight, not heat, so an overcast day still produces power, roughly a third to half of a sunny day's output. Our estimates use a full year of Klang Valley weather, monsoon months included.

Will drilling into my roof cause leaks?

Not when it's done properly. On tile roofs we swap tiles for flashed mounting hooks, on metal deck we use clamps or sealed screw fixings, and on flat concrete we use ballasted or anchored frames with waterproofing. Every install carries a 5-year workmanship warranty that covers leaks at the mounting points.

How long does approval and switch-on take?

Installation takes 1–2 days. The grid connection application, TNB's meter change and switch-on usually take 4–8 weeks in total, depending on SEDA and TNB processing. We submit the paperwork and update you every week. For the current scheme rules, check the official SEDA Malaysia and TNB websites.

How much maintenance and cleaning do the panels need?

Very little. Rain does most of the cleaning. We recommend a professional wash and inspection once a year, or twice if you live near construction or a busy road. The monitoring app alerts you if output drops unexpectedly.

What happens if I move house?

The system usually stays with the house and adds to its appeal; we transfer the warranties and monitoring account to the new owner. If you'd rather take it with you, we can quote for removal and reinstallation, but the grid connection has to be applied for again at the new address.

How is my saving calculated?

We convert your TNB bill into units at an average of about RM 0.50 per kWh, size a system to cover about 70% of them, and value its expected output at the same rate. Your real saving depends on how much solar power you use during the day versus export, and on the current tariff and scheme rules. The site survey gives you the real number.

Will the panels power my home during a blackout?

No. For safety, grid-connected inverters switch off when TNB supply is cut, so they never feed power into lines being repaired. If backup power matters to you, ask about adding a battery during your survey.

Do I need to be home for the site survey?

Yes, for about 45–60 minutes. The surveyor needs to see your roof, your distribution board and the TNB meter, and to talk through how your household uses electricity.
